RAW Camera Image (.RAW) File Format

The .RAW (RAW Camera Image) contains unprocessed, lossless image data from a digital camera's image sensor. RAW is a common name for many raw image formats: CRW (Canon), DNG (Adobe), MRW (Minolta), NEF or NRW (Nikon), PTX (Pentax), RAW or RWL (Leica) and so on...
